KIDNEY, Aidan Joseph, (Simsbury, Conn., USA and Landscape Ave., Churchtown, Dublin), October 31, 2017 in Hartford General Hospital, Conn., USA, (unexpectedly), but following a long illness borne with great dignity, courage and humour. Beloved husband of Maeve and loving father of Aisling and Aine. Very sadly missed by his sisters (Marie and Patricia), brothers Declan, Paul and Kevin and extended family, mother-in-law Greta, sisters-in-law Emer and Triona, brothers-in-law Paul and Eamon, nephews, nieces and a very wide circle of friends. Maeve, Aisling and Áine would like to extend their utmost gratitude for the dedication and the care given to Aidan by Dr Sergio Giralt and his amazing team at Memorial Sloan Kettering NYC and to Dr Mark Dailey, Melissa O’Neill and the team in Hartford Hospital. Forever grateful. He was a friend to all who knew him. Funeral arrangements later. We are all the better for having known him

I'm so sorry for your loss of such an incredible person. Was hoping you'd take comfort by reading the promise at John 5:28,29. Please take care.

Noel Troy. I only met Aidan a few times but he was such a positive character, you'd be hoping to run into him. God Bless him.

Aidan was a wonderful friend and colkeague, always upbeat no matter what the challenge. I will greatly miss the walks, talks, tennis, stories and jokes. His spirit was contagious.
