FAHERTY (Roundstone, Co. Galway) - March 23, 2015 (peacefully) at her home, Carmel (née Connolly), beloved wife of the late Paraic, loving and much loved mother of Garoid (Italy), Cormac (Galway), Ronan (England) and Muireann (Barna); grandmother of Eanna (deceased): greatly missed by her son-in-law Shay, daughters-in-law Anne and Claire and adoring grandchildren Ellen, Conor, Paraic, Aisling, Oisin, Eva and Gabriel, her extended family, friends and neighbours. R.I.P. Reposing at her home in Roundstone from 5pm to 8pm. tomorrow (Wednesday). Removal to Our Lady's Star of the Sea Church, Roundstone for Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12.30pm. followed by burial in Gurteen Cemetery. House private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only please.May her gentle soul rest in peace.
FAHERTY Carmel (née Connolly) (March 23, 2015) Formerly of Connolly's Bar, Roundstone, Co. Galway. On the First Anniversary of Mum's passing, we her family Gearoid, Cormac, Ronan and Muireann would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us and took the time to attend her funeral. We received many cards and letters sharing wonderful memories of Mum and her hospitality and we treasure them. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all as a token of our appreciation. Mum was a guiding light in all our lives and we loved her dearly.
