MOONEY - Sr Alicia OP (Rosaleen), Dominican Convent, Falls Rd, Belfast BT12 6AD; formerly of Convento de Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso, Lisbon.

Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast, on May 3, 2025.

Much loved and deeply regretted by her Dominican Sisters, her brothers, John, Seamus, Malachy, her sister, Margaret Toal, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, sisters-in-law, Marie, Daphne and Linda, brother-in-law, Eamon, family circle and friends in Ireland and Portugal. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Alice Mooney, brothers, Eugene and Patrick, sisters, Kathleen Lagan and Mary McKavanagh, and brothers-in-law, Frank Lagan and Gerry McKavanagh.

Sr Alicia's remains will repose at O'Kane's Chapel of Rest, Donegall Street, Belfast on Monday, May 5 until 12.30pm, and at Dominican Convent, Falls Road, 2.30pm - 5pm on Monday. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Paul's Church, Falls Road, Belfast BT12 6AB, on Tuesday, May 6 at 2.15pm followed by burial at Dominican Convent cemetery.
