MONAGHAN, Seán Riversdale House, Athenry, Co. Galway, (formerly Arklow) July 21st 2025, peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of University Hospital, Galway, with his family by his side. Beloved son of Norrie and the late Derry Monaghan. Seán will be sadly missed by his siblings Mary, Marcella, Helen, Jacqueline, Anne, Dermot and Domnic; his in-laws Seán Geeney, Seán Newell, David Kelly, and Sinéad Deely; his nephews and nieces, Manolis, Stella, Seán, Derry, Emmanouella, Fionnuala, Cathal, Aoife, Diarmuid, Cian and Éalga; Grand nephews and nieces, as well as extended family and friends. Reposing at Gardner’s Funeral Home, Athenry, (H65 EV80) Wednesday July 23rd. from 5:00pm, removal at 7:00pm to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry, (H91 PV27). Requiem Mass on Thursday 24th July at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Donations if desired, will be gratefully appreciated by Cancer Care West. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
