WHELAN, Joan (née Gaughan), (Goatstown, Dublin 14), October 7, 2017, (peacefully) in St. Vincent's University Hospital following a long illness courageously borne. Loving mother of Conor, Brian, Claire and Maeve; loving grandmother of Ava, Harry, Dylan, John, Alana and Ashling. Very sadly missed by husband Noel, brother Frank, all other family members and by her many friends. Reposing, today (Monday) in the Mortuary Chapel at St. Vincent's University Hospital from 3 to 4.30 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday), October 10 at 11 o'c in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, followed by a private cremation ceremony in Mt.
