BUCKLEY, Capt. John E. B.E. (Dublin and formerly of Ladyswell, Cashel, Co. Tipperary) peacefully - July 25, 2014, in the loving care of Bloomfield Care Centre, Dublin. Recently retired from Engineering Corps., Irish Defence Forces; son of the late John L. and Bridget Buckley, brother to Michael (Clonmel). Sadly missed by his family, cousins, friends and army colleagues. He deeply appreciated the loving care and support given to him by his friends and colleagues during his long illness. Reposing at Sacred Heart Church, Arbour Hill, Dublin 7, today, Monday from 5pm with prayer service at 6pm. Funeral Mass on tomorrow, Tuesday at 11am in Arbour Hill. Followed by private burial. May he rest In Christ's peace.Ar Dhéis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

<p>Condolences</p> Sorry to see that John (Emmanuel to is who knew him in Cashel) had lost the struggle which I gather he handled bravely. RIP. As well as in Cashel, I knew him in UCD and on the mountains with the UCD Mountaineering Club. Brendan McGrath (formerly Friar St. Cashel).
