FINCHER June (née Priestley) (Dublin) - September 12, 2014, (peacefully) in the kind and gentle care of the wonderful staff of Marymount Ward, Our Lady's Hospice and Care Services. Adored wife of the late Dan and treasured mother of Deirdre (Rowe) and Helen (Duffy), devoted grandmother and great-grandmother of Daniel, Laura, Ciara, Jack, Niamh, Charlotte and Eleanor. Very sadly missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, sister Colette, relatives and many friends. Reposing in Our Lady's Hospice Mortuary from 12.00 noon today (Saturday). Funeral Service Monday at 11.00am in Holy Trinity Church, (Church Avenue), Rathmines, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services, Harold's Cross. May she rest in peace Reunited with her beloved Dan.
FINCHER, June (Dublin) died September 12, 2014. On the occasion of her First Anniversary June's daughters Deirdre and Helen together with their families, would like to extend their sincere thanks to all their relatives, friends and colleagues who supported them at the time of her death and over the past year. Special thanks to all the staff in Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services who cared for June so expertly and with great compassion in her final years. A special thank you to her friend Bernie for her gentle support and loyalty over the years and especially in June's last days. We wish to thank most sincerely Rev Neil McEndoo and everyone who attended the prayers and funeral service, sent cards, messages and letters of sympathy. We extend our deep gratitude to the members of Kenilworth Bowling Club who formed the guard of honour at the church and to her many friends who travelled long distances to pay their respects to June and comfort us in our grief. Your thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered and cherished. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation and gratitude.Nothing can ever take away
