MACAULAY, Elizabeth (née Wallace) (Glasthule, Co. Dublin) - September 1, 2021 (peacefully) in St Michael’s Hospital, beloved wife of the late Iain, loving mother of Patrick and Iain Alasdair. Sadly missed by her sons, daughter-in-law Karolina, grandchildren Linnea and David, her brother William, sister Anne Marie (Gilmore), all her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Elizabeth’s Funeral will take place under current Government guidelines tomorrow Wednesday at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule and can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/glasthule and followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Elizabeth is now reunited with her dearest husband Iain. “Think then, my soul, that death is but a groom, Which brings a taper to the outward room.”

Deepest sympathy to Patrick and Iain on the passing of your dear Mother. Shocked and saddened. As a fellow Limerick girl, a dance classmate, and a friend in recent years, I enjoyed Elizabeth’s great sense of humour. RIP. Anne Dallaghan
