FLANNELLY, Adrian (New York, USA and formerly Co. Mayo. Host of Irish Radio ‘Adrian Flannelly Show’ for over 54 years) - 24th July 2024, peacefully passed away at North Shore University Hospital, NY with family by his bedside. Beloved husband of Aine Sheridan, adored father of Linda, Paul, Eileen and Kathleen, cherished granddad to Gavin, Falynn, Sebastian, and Scarlett, treasured brother of Fintan Flannelly and Betty Waters (predeceased by brother Enda and sister Irene). He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, precious Daniel, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and many lifelong listeners. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 am in St. Peter’s Church, Chapel Ln, Little Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Northwell Health donation page in honour of Adrian: https://www.northwellcommunity.org/campaign/Adrian_Flannelly All donations will go towards the Palliative Care Unit at North Shore University Hospital.

Adrian was such a friend to the Irish and Irish Americans in New York City and surrounding area. Especially to the Benedictine community of nuns at Kylemore Abbey In County Galway, Ireland.
