MURPHY (Kinsale and Rosslaire) - June 24, 2012 (unexpectedly) at his residence, 'The Rock'. John (late of Sam's Bar and former funeral director). Beloved husband of Vivian and the late Margaret and dear father of Matthew, Elma and the late John and Anna. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, sisters Mary, Dymphna and Teresa, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. Lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home Kinsale (formally Murphy's) today (Monday) from 4.30pm followed by Removal at 6.30pm to St. John the Baptist Church Kinsale. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Eltin's Cemetery.May he Rest In Peace.
MURPHY John (The Rock, Kinsale and Rosslare, Wexford died June 24, 2012) - John's wife Vivian, son Matthew, daughter Elma and sisters Mary, Dymphna and Teresa would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on the sad loss of John. We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to those who attended the removal and funeral Mass and to those who sent Mass cards, flowers, letters and messages. A special word of thanks to Fr. McEvoy, Fr. Young, Fr. Murphy, Fr. McAleese (O Carm) and Canon David Williams, also to Gabriel and O'Donovan, Funeral Directors and to Kinsale GAA Club who provided a guard of honour at the removal. Finally, our heartfelt thanks to the townspeople and businesses of Kinsale for their wonderful expression of sympathy and support. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. John's First Anniversary Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday June 23rd in St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Kinsale.
