McCARTHY Dan (Killiney, Co. Dublin) September 12, 2014 peacefully at The Blackrock Clinic after a short illness; beloved husband of the late Peg and of the late Geraldine, loving father of Danielle, Eoin, Conor, Neil and Gerard and step-father of Heather and Shane and brother of the late Carmel and Patricia. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Bruce, daughters-in-law Jessica and Deirdre, Sophie, grandchildren James and Freddie, Luke, Caitlin, Ellie and Finn, Daniel, Thomas and Jack, his brother Derry, sister Nuella, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Removal on Monday evening to Church of The Assumption, Dalkey arriving at 5.00 o'clock Funeral on Tuesday after 10.00 o'c Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.

McCARTHY Dan - On the occasion of the First Anniversary, his children, Danielle, Eoin, Conor, Neil and Gerard, stepchildren Heather and Shane, together with his siblings Derry and Nuella, grandchildren and extended family, would like to thank all of those who sympathised, supported and comforted us following the death of Dan. We wish to extend our gratitude to all of those who attended his funeral and sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy. We also wish to thank Fr. Gallagher, CC Dalkey, for the funeral service. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
