So sorry to hear of maireads passing
I knew mairead as a child/teenager and played tennis with her in Monkstown tennis club. I have only learned of her passing in the last day, so shocked and sorry to hear of it. She was such a lovely friend. We lost touch when we grew older but have many memory's. Very sad...
A True Star

Mairead, you were and always will be one in a million. A very special person who bought love and happiness to so many people. The world has lost a gentle and courageous soul, but heaven has gained a bright and shining star. I will always remember the times we spent together and amongst the sadness will remember the laughter and good times we had. You are a true inspiration and your memory will always be treasured and never forgotten.

All our love, Claire and Stewart

Mairead

My heartfelt sympathies to Mike, Eileen and both the O'Mahoney and Longair families. I had the priviledge to work and hire Mairead for my department in Four Seasons Hotel Dublin back in 2000, and loved her from day one, we kept in touch over the years and I made a trip to Oz to stay with her in 2001, we spoke during her illness, and I'd hope if anyone could come through it would be her. Not to be, heaven has another angel, gone too soon, but never forgotten, she touched my heart and I am a better person for having had a friend in Mairead.

No words seem worthy to comfort, but know she was loved, respected and will forever have a place in my heart.

Love and best wishes - Caitriona McGee (Ex Telecoms Manager - Four Seasons Hotel Dublin).
