<p>O'CONNELL, Brendan John, (Finglas, Dublin), died April 1, 2020 Peacefully in the wonderful care of Nazareth House, Malahide and formerly by the excellent staff at Silver Birch residential unit at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Son of the late LCpl Andrew and Anne (Nancy) O'Connell, Quarry Road, Cabra. Predeceased by his brothers Andrew, Dan and Mick. Beloved husband of Margo and loving father to Helen, Joe, Brendan, Róisín, Marie- Louise and Darragh, he is greatly missed by his dear grandchildren Nicola, David, Sam, Naomi, Kees, Jack, Rónan, Ryan, Chloe, Ellie, Ava and great-grandchild; Lola. He is also deeply regretted by brothers-in-law Martin, David, and sisters-in-law Patsy, Chris, and all extended O'Connell (Cabra, UK), Lester (Sandymount), Kainu, Sheeran (Canada), and Attinga (The Netherlands) families, as well as his community, neighbours and friends throughout. A private funeral Mass for immediate family only will take place followed by cremation. The interment of Brendans Ashes will take place in Blackhorse Military Cemetery, Dublin 7 at a date yet to be confirmed. A memorial Mass will be arranged at a later date.
