O'HANLON, Bertie (Blackrock, Cork), died September 25, 2016. His daughters, Jacqueline, Jane, Lynn, Catherine and Sarah and families wish to thank all who sympathised with them on the loss of a beloved father, grandfather and great- grandfather. All those who travelled long distances to be with us and attended the removal and funeral Mass and those who sent Mass cards, letters and flowers and made donations to St. Vincent de Paul. Special thanks to his GP Dr. Tom Cahill and all the carers from Comfort Keepers and Home Instead who helped him remain at home for so long. We thank the medical and nursing staff at CUH, the Rehabilitation Unit at St. Finbarr's Hospital, and for his last few weeks, Darraghglynn Nursing Home. We are grateful to Fr. Tom Clancy and Canon Kieran Twomey, and Mary Hegarty, soloist for the beautiful funeral Mass. We thank the IRFU, Dolphin and Cork Constitution Rugby Clubs and Cork and Lahinch Golf Clubs, officers and members for their support and former colleagues and friends at Standard Life. As it has not been possible to write to everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
