CULLIGAN Michael Patrick (Castleknock, Dublin 15, formerly Kilrush, Co. Clare, died March 2, 2011) - On this, the First Anniversary of Michael's death, his wife Mary and his children Michèle, Caroline, Delphine and John would like to express their gratitude to all those who supported them through Michael's illness and passing. He was very much loved, and will always be deeply missed. We wish to thank all our wonderful neighbours, friends and relatives who travelled with us on this difficult journey over the last few years, we could not have managed without you. A special mention to Angela Fitzpatrick for her kind hearted support to all the family. We deeply appreciate all those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and attended the removal, Requiem Mass and funeral. Thank you too to all the dedicated staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, who so kindly cared for Michael in his final illness. We wish to thank Fr. Kieran Dunne, Chaplain, Mater Private Hospital, whose wise words gave solace to Michael and all his family. Our thanks also to Castleknock Parish, the Castleknock Bethany Group and to Kirwans Funeral Directors for helping us to organise Michael's funeral and for conducting such a beautiful and dignified Service. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.

Brian and Toni Crowley

We were very sorry indeed to learn of Michael's death. We knew him in Nice where we are now. He was a charming companion and most interesting conversationalist, who had travelled extensively and talked engagingly about his travels. We found him a remarkably open person prepared to discuss any and every topic. It is sad to think that we will never again have the pleasure of his company.

Deepest sympathy from Limerick

Deepest sympathy on Michael's death. He was my wonderful late husband's (Brian's) first cousin. He used to visit his late mother, Kathleen, in Kilrush and I met Michael on a couple of occasions on our visits to West Clare. He was a gentleman in the true sense of the word and he impressed me as a charming and kindly man with only good to say about everybody. May he rest in peace.

May God console his wife and family.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Joan Dooley and family.
