BURGESS Seán (Dublin and Thailand, died October 31 2012) - Seán's mother, Noreen and Eilís, Pádraig and Ger, Brendan, Mairéad and Michael, together with Keara, Aidan, Aoife, Richeal, Ros and Ciarán are very grateful to their relatives, friends and neighbours for their sympathy at our beloved Seán's Requiem Mass, and also for their beautiful Mass cards, letters, visits and for their generosity in so many ways. We wish to thank Fr. Paul and Fr. John who concelebrated mass for Seán. Many thanks also to his friends in Pattya who were so wonderfully kind and helpful to him.A special word of thanks to Sean's special close friends as well as to the friends of his teens, his photography friends, his Bridge friends, his Galway races friends and his pub friends who enjoyed each others' company over all the years. Mass has been celebrated for all of you. I'd like the memory of me to
be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
To dry before the sun
of happy memories
That I leave behind
when life is done.
