McNAMARA, Turlough (Highbury, London, formerly of Waterford and Swords, Dublin) - October 23, 2017, (peacefully), in the wonderful care of The Princess Grace Hospital, Marylebone, surrounded by his family, after a long fight borne with inspirational humour and zest for life, beloved husband of Brenda and wonderful and loving brother to Deirdre; very sadly missed also by his nieces Hannah and Sarah and nephew Conor, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Hayes and English, Hoxton Street today (Thursday) from 9am-5pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 10.30am in St. Monica's Priory, Hoxton Square.

Wicklow friends - Nigel Kelly, Bryan Kelly, Damian Sheridan and Brian Clarke - Turlough was a one off. We could see that from the age of 15 in Newbridge school. A good friend to us all, a unique character in all ways and we'll miss him
