HANNON - Michael Francis – May 12, 2022 (Kerrymount Rise, Dublin and Ballaghadereen, Co. Roscommon). At this time of his Birthday, Eithne and the girls want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who showed so much love and support at the time of Michael’s unexpected passing; Our chief celebrant Monsignor Dan O’Connor and Liam Keegan ensured Michael’s life was celebrated in a truly meaningful way and Father Acquinas Duffy of Cabinteely parish could not have been more helpful. We are eternally grateful to our wonderful neighbours in Kerrymount Rise, particularly Sheila and Geoff Carroll also Eithne’s niece Geraldine and her husband Peter Rogers from Dundalk. We also want to express our gratitude to the paramedic team that tended to Michael. Throughout his life Dr Clement McRory and Dr
Julie Kearney took excellent care of Michael. To everyone who called to our home, sent beautiful cards, made phone calls or attended the funeral, we can’t thank you enough. To Mark and his team at the Graduate in Killiney, whose service and help was exceptional. We want to acknowledge the deep loss to Michael’s brothers Vincent, Maurice and Gabriel, sisters Joyce Collins and Mary McMahon, sisters-in-law Anne, Siobhan, and JB, brothers-in-law, Frank Collins and Michael McMahon – And recognise the gap forever left in the ‘Cabinteely walkers’. We look forward to commemorating
this happy custom with a park bench in 2023. We took great comfort sharing stories of Michael’s fulfilling life with his
wide circle of friends. Our own group of close friends continue to provide support and comfort every day, we are truly grateful to you all. Eithne, Clodagh, Orla and Deirdre
Ray, Padraig, David, Patrick, Chloe, Jamie, Finn and Sean.
