WALSH Eimear (Foxrock, Dublin) - June 16, 2015 tragically in Berkeley, California; so sadly missed by her heartbroken parents James (Jim) and Patricia, her brother Robert, aunts, uncles, cousins and her wide circle of wonderful friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum from 2pm to 5pm this Monday afternoon. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday at 11.00am in Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. House Private.

WALSH, Eimear (Foxrock, Dublin) - On the First Anniversary of her death, Eimear's parents Jim and Patricia and brother Robert wish to express extreme gratitude to all who sympathised with them following the tragic loss in Berkeley, of their beautiful daughter and sister. Warm thanks to those who called to their house, attended the funeral home, funeral Mass, those who sent cards, messages of condolences, letters or flowers. The family were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and compassion received. Particular thanks to friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their kindness, to Fr. Paul Ward, Fr. Frank Herron and concelebrants of the funeral Mass and those who helped with the liturgy and music, to Foxrock Parish Pastoral Council and Pastoral Centre and all who arranged and assisted with the catering after the funeral, to Eimear's fellow JI students and her wide circle of friends for their continued support and to UCD School of Medicine and Class of 2018. In the US, heartfelt thanks to those who provided great comfort to all the families and students in Berkeley, to Philip Grant and staff of The Irish Consulate in San Francisco, Fr. Brendan McBride and Celine Kennelly of the Irish Immigrant and Pastoral Centre, Fr. Aidan McAleenan, Berkeley Police and Fire Departments, to Irish Ambassador Anne Anderson, to Minister Jimmy Deenihan who travelled to Berkeley to be with the families and to the expatriate community in San Francisco. In Dublin, sincere thanks to The Department of Foreign Affairs and Minister Charlie Flanagan, Government representatives, Aer Lingus and Dublin Airport Authority, An Garda Síochána, to US Embassy staff and US Ambassador Kevin O'Malley, to management and staff of The Clayton Hotel Leopardstown and to Fanagans Undertakers for their care and sensitivity.
