SMYTH, (née Fleming) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – July 22nd 2022 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Carysfort Nursing Home, Glenageary. Leigh; dearly beloved wife of the late Greg Smyth (Blackrock), much loved sister of Andrea, Andrew and Michael. She will be very sadly missed by her loving sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Thursday (July 28th) from 4o’c to 6o’c. Removal on Friday (July 29th) to St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule arriving for 10o’c Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. On this Leighs First Anniversary (July 22), Andrea, Andrew and Michael, her siblings, wish to thank all family, friends, and neighbours who sympathised with us, her school friends from Roslyn Park. D.D.H Comrades, her late husband Greg’s Rugby colleagues from Bective Rangers. Those who left messages of sympathy, sent flowers, Mass cards and attended funeral Mass and graveside. A very sincere thanks to the Fr. Ciaran Enright for all his kind words and welcome into his church and requiem mass and attending graveside.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
