McCARTHY Mary Frances (née Connolly) (Oughterard and Galway) February 14, 2014, (peacefully) at UCHG, much loved mother of John (J J) and mother-in-law of Mary Cahill. Deeply regretted by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours R.I.P. Reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, Oughterard this (Saturday) evening from 5.30 o'clock Removal at 6.30 o'c to Oughterard Church. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 11.30 o'c with burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard.
McCARTHY, Mary (Blackrock and late of Monkstown, Co. Dublin) March 2,2021, in her 91st year (peacefully) in the gentle and loving care of the extraordinary staff of the Fern Dean Nursing Home, Deans Grange. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Brendan (Paddy), Dermot, Carmel, Finola, Joseph and Niall, and by her nephews Finian and Michael. Much loved aunt to her 12 nieces and nephews and their families who will miss her greatly. A good and loyal friend to a wide circle of friends, in particular the Loreto PPU community. In accordance with government guidelines, a private family funeral will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 10.00 am. after which she will be laid to rest in Deans Grange cemetery.
