LYONS

LYONS (California) - On Monday, 13th July 2009, Francis James Vincent Lyons passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family, at Kaiser Hospital, Hayward, California. His battle with cancer over the last year brought out all his courage and determination, which has been an inspiration to all who knew him. Francis was 46 years old, having been born to Marie (Corish) Lyons in Palo Alto, California in March 1963, and had lived in the Greater Bay area all his life. He is much missed by his wife Robin Lynn (Bennett) Lyons, their twin children Patrick and Caitlin, his father John, sister Deirdre, brothers Kieran and Dermot, uncles and aunts Michael and Eileen (Lyons) Byrne, (Cork), Maurice and Angela Corish, (New Zealand), Maeve (Corish) Maggs, (Buckinghamshire UK), Eileen (Corish) Brown, (Glenageary, Dublin), as well as numerous cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Francis's life at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Rocklin, California at 10 a.m. Saturday, 25th July 2009."May he rest in peace".
