LEAHY, Jules (Julian) (Monkstown and Granville Park) - July 1, 2023, died peacefully, in his 53rd year, surrounded by his adoring family, in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St Vincent’s Hospital after a short illness. Greatly missed by his mum and dad - Pauline (née Whelan) and John, his brother Mark with Mi Jong and his sister Michelle with Lutz; his life partner Jean and her parents, Syl and Mary and their family. Missed also by his uncles and aunts, Brian, Maureen, and Irene in Dublin and Sharon in England. Deeply missed also by his nieces and nephews, Sean, Leo, Max, Finn, Faye, Dylan and Leonardo. Also, his many cousins. He touched the hearts of so many on his journey through life and left only light footprints in the sands along the way. Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, 5 Newtownpark, Blackrock, 3.00pm to 4.00pm tomorrow (Friday). House private. Funeral service at Mount Jerome, Victorian Chapel, 4.00pm Saturday, July 8, followed by cremation. Family flowers only, please. But donations to the Irish Cancer Society would be much appreciated. Colourful attire would be appreciated by Julian as he was noted for his snazzy dress sense. 'Peace at last'

LEAHY - Julian (Jules) - Our beloved son and brother died a year ago July 1, 2023.

"You were with us for fifty-two short years, Jules.

You spent so much of your time helping others. Know that you will never be forgotten by so many. Thank you for your love care and support. You taught us so much-more than you could ever know.”

John (dad), Pauline (mum), Mark and Michelle (siblings) and of course Jean, your best friend in life.

We also thank Jules’ extended family, friends and neighbours for all their support and love during these difficult times.

We received so many calls, letters, and Mass cards. Please be aware that we are eternally grateful.

"He whom we love and lose, is no longer where he was before- he is now wherever we are…”
