BYRNE Peter Desmond (Des) 'Eagle Lodge', Killashee, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Main Street, Portarlington, Co. Laois - August 2, 2013 after a short illness, peacefully, in St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin. Deeply regretted by his loving wife of 55 years, May; his sons Peter and Myles, niece Sr. Geraldine Sheedy, daughters-in-law Aisling and Melissa, his grandchildren Rachel, Kelsey, Ciara and Andrew and all his extended family. Rest In Peace. Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, Portarlington today, Tuesday at 12 noon followed by Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington. With sincere thanks to all Des's fabulous neighbours and all the medical staff at Naas General Hospital, The Blackrock Clinic and St. Vincent's Private Hospital for all their loving care.
