COUNIHAN - Jerome J (Glenageary and Shankill). As we remember Jerry on the First Anniversary of his passing on May 26, his wife Lorna and sons Jerome and Shane join with the Counihan and Milne families in offering sincere thanks to all who expressed their sympathy at the time of Jerry’s death with Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, emails and the kind messages of sympathy and support posted on the RIP website and to those people who travelled long distances to pay their respects. Grateful acknowledgment is due to the parish of St. Patrick’s, Monkstown for welcoming Jerry’s funeral, to the celebrant Fr. Kevin Rowan and Deacon Eric Cooney, Carnegie’s Funeral Directors, to all involved in the ceremony, to the members of Monkstown FC and DLGC and to the Guard of Honour of the Leinster Rugby Referees. Sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in St. Vincent’s Hospital and Tara Care Centre Bray who cared for Jerry especially in his final days. Please accept this acknowledgment as a mark of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
