ALSTON (née Chambers) Joan (Barbara), (Dundrum and formerly of The Irish Times) - January 11, 2013 (Suddenly) in the presence of her devoted son, after a short illness in the tender care of the staff in Killiney Grove Nursing Home. Will be deeply missed by her son Geoffrey. Deeply regretted by her brother Gerald, relatives, neighbours and a circle of very good friends. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum. Funeral Service at 11 o'c tomorrow (Tuesday) in St Nathi's Church, Dundrum followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul. A mother's love is a blessing.
