WHITTY (Clontarf, and formerly of Waterford; retired Captain, Defences Forces) - December 19, 2012, (peacefully), in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of Cara Care Nursing Home, Michael J, beloved husband to the late Kathleen (Kitty); sadly missed by his loving daughters Nuala and her husband Al and Aideen and her partner Paddy, grandchildren Sam, Michelle and Jordan, sister Maria (Nolan), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home Fairview Strand with removal this (Friday) evening to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Clontarf arriving at 6 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 11.30 o'clock Requiem Mass to Dardistown Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Friends of the Elderly.
