RAETHORNE, (née Claffey) Susan Jane (Susie, Sue) (late of Castleknock, Dundrum and Greystones) - 9th, November 2023, at home. Loving mother of Charlie, treasured daughter of Charlie and Katherine, beloved sister of Vaari, Carina, John, Barbara and Isabel, sister-in-law of Brian, Brendan, Joanne, Cormac and Ollie and auntie of Juno, Amelia, Bey, Hazel, Jack, Pearl, Sonny and Lois and stepmother of Amy and Becky. Susie is deeply regretted and very sadly missed by her heartbroken family, relatives and many friends. Sue will be reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand today Thursday (November 16th) from 5pm to 7pm, with family in attendance. All welcome. Requiem Mass tomorrow Friday (November 17th) at 11am in the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock, followed by burial at Redford Cemetery, Greystones arriving at 2pm approx. Sue’s Mass may be viewed on the Parish Webcam. “May she Rest in Peace”

Charlie, My memory of your loving Mother. was oh a kind , elegant and brave lady . I am so very sorry and sad that she has left this world , her spirit will walk with you for the rest of your life and her love fo you will keep you strong . Sue … , rest in peace now .
