O'ROURKE, Gerard (Gerry), (Foxrock, Co. Dublin) – December 16, 2017, (peacefully) at home with extraordinary courage after over a decade fighting with Motor Neuron Disease. Beloved husband of the late Ann O'Rourke and in later life Biddy Magee. Loving father to Antonia, Conal, Claire and stepsons Will and Michael Magee. Dearly loved Grandpa G to Sam, Shea, Ava, Sive, Lyla and Alfie; sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, relatives and friends around the globe. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Brothers Funeral home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock this (Monday) afternoon, December 18 prior to his removal to the Church of the Guardian Angels Newtownpark Avenue arriving for 5.30pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am with burial thereafter in Shanganagh Cemetry. Donations appreciated to the Irish Motor Neuron Society or Blackrock Hospice.
