FRY, Mabel (née Walker) (late of Shankill and formerly of Foxrock and Donnybrook, Co. Dublin) – July 4, 2023, peacefully, in her 94th year, in the exceptional care of the staff at Cairn Hill Nursing Home, Foxrock. Beloved wife of the late Harold, much loved mother of Peter, Barbara, Mark, Paula, David and Diane, dearly loved by her eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, very sadly missed by her sisters Pauline, Betty and Helen, daughters-in-law Mary-Rose and Jennifer, sons-in-law Nicholas and Philippe, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass on Friday (July 7) at 10.00am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. The Mass may also be viewed online at churchservices.tv/foxrock. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice. May she Rest in Peace

So sorry to hear of Mabel’s passing. Talk about the end of an era! What a lady, what a Mum. You always felt welcome in the home, and it was a real home. Not to mention the best coffee and biscuits in the neighborhood which as a teenager was of note! Can’t mention Mabel without Harry, absolute legends. Will never be forgotten. And what a family they left behind them - amazing children, grandchildren and great grandchildren! Look forward to raising a glass to their wonderful lives next time I see you. RIP
