O'BRIEN, Catherine (née McCarron) – (Killiney, Co. Dublin), 17th February 2025. Peacefully in the comfort of her home. Deeply loved mother of Johnny, Sinead, Pete and Katie and their father, the late Peter O'Brien. Predeceased by her parents Eamon T. McCarron and Nora (née Toolin), brothers John, Tom and Hugh, her nieces Maeve and Carron and nephew Aidan. Catherine will be sadly missed by her adored grandchildren Eoin, Eve, Finn and Myles. Her loving sisters Nan, Clare and Eleanor, sons-in-law Ken and Gavin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Catherine will be reposing at home tomorrow (Friday) evening 21st February from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Service on Saturday (22nd February) at 11.30am Church of the Assumption, Dalkey followed by cremation committal prayers at 1.45pm in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98. O'BRIEN - remembering Catherine on her first Anniversary, Caitriona and Mary Beth send heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised and supported us at the time. Catherine, who lived life to the full, valued her family, especially her late brother Kevin, granddaughters Róisin and Sadhbh, and the company of great friends at home and abroad, is dearly missed. Remembering also our dad Sean.
