SCOTT, Joan (née Bridle) (Glenageary and Beechfield Manor Nursing Home, Shankill) - December 3, 2014, in her 96th year, (peacefully), after a brief illness, at St. Vincent's University Hospital, loving wife of the late Edgar, wonderful mother of Clive, Roy and Hilary (Wallace); greatly loved and sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Jean and Sally, son-in-law Pat, grandchildren Lynda, Karen, Marcus, Daragh and Rachel, great-grandchildren Ava, Sophie, Aaron and Elise, brother-in-law Norman and sister-in-law Gladys, relatives, friends and neighbours. Thanksgiving Service will be held in St. Paul's Church, Silchester Road, Glenageary, at 11 am on Monday 8th December followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.
SCOTT Joan, who died December 3, 2014 - On the First Anniversary of Joan's death, Clive, Roy, Hilary and all the family wish to thank the many friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their bereavement; those who attended the Thanksgiving Service and the burial and who sent flowers, sympathy cards, Mass cards and letters; those who called to visit. We thank Rev. Gary Dowd for arranging and conducting the Thanksgiving Service and the burial service. We also thank Rev. Alan Wardlow for his support. We thank Dr. Fitzpatrick, the doctors and staff of St Michael's Hospital and St. Vincent's University Hospital, the carers from Home Instead Senior Care, the staff of Beechfield Manor Nursing Home and Carnegie Funeral Directors. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation to all.
