DIXON Colm died September 24th. On today, which would have been Colm's 88th birthday, his wife Mary McGaver Dixon, daughter Susan, sons Mark and Andrew and grandson Connolly would like to thank most sincerely all who kindly attended the Chapel of Rest, attended Colm's removal and funeral - and some of you travelled considerable distances to be with us - those who sent Mass Cards, letters, cards and texts, those who made donations to Blackrock Hospice, those who phoned and who called to the house to sympathise. We thank Fr. Conor Harper SJ, Curate at Donnybrook who was of great help to Colm in his final months and who so succinctly portrayed Colm in his funeral homily. Our grateful thanks go to Dr. Damian Rutledge GP, to the Heart Failure Clinic and Cardiac Unit of SVUH, to the nurses of the Palliative Homecare Team at Blackrock Hospice and to Deirdre Lyons, District Nurse. Mass will be said in thanksgiving for the kindness of you all.
