FOUERE, John (Jean) Francois Fouere MSc MBA, Aughrusbeg, Cleggan, Co. Galway, peacefully, surrounded by family on January 7, 2024, under the kind care of Carna Nursing Home following a long illness. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Danielle, two sons Tristan and Oisin, grandson Cassian, his sisters Rozenn, Benig, Olwen and brother Erwan. Sadly missed by extended family and friends. Geologist and oceanographer, an innovator in the shellfish industry and an active member of the local community, dedicated to many campaigns for peace and justice in the world. Removal to Star of the Sea Church, Claddaghduff, Co. Galway, Sunday, January 14 at 5pm. Service on Monday, January 15 at 11am followed by reception (details to follow). Private cremation Tuesday, January 16 at 2pm at Shannon Crematorium.
