CORCORAN - Patrick Henry , age 83, (of Bocarnagh, Glengarriff) passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2021, in Washington DC after a lengthy battle with Myelofibrosis, a rare blood

cancer. Beloved husband of 57 years to Bonnie Corcoran; devoted father of Leila, Cecily and the late Amy Corcoran; cherished grandfather of Ava. Also survived by many loving nieces and a nephew. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the

MPN Research Foundation at www.mpnresearchfoundation.org. After his diagnosis, Patrick

volunteered with the foundation to raise research funds and increase awareness about blood

cancers. A celebration of life will be held at his home in Ireland late summer.

Pat’s mother Maryon Henry Corcoran and my mother Rita Henry Luby were sisters. I visited Pat & Bonnie at their remote, mountainside Glengarriff retreat about 20 years. Just heard about his death. God bless the family.
