SHEEHY - John (Clonakilty and Dublin) – September 10, 2020. On the First Anniversary of John’s death, his wife Patricia (Lynch) and the extended Sheehy and Lynch families would like to thank most sincerely all who supported and sympathised with them, in particular their relatives here and abroad, former colleagues, friends and neighbours, both in Dublin and Clonakilty. Sincere thanks to the medical staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital for their kindness and understanding while caring for John in his final days. A special thanks also to Monsignor Aidan O’Driscoll, Julie O’Sullivan-Nicholson and John Cullinane for the beautiful funeral Mass, singing and music, and to Charles O’Sullivan, Undertaker, for his compassion and professionalism in organising John’s funeral and for bringing him back from Dublin to his beloved Clonakilty. And to the Clonakilty GAA, a heartfelt thanks for providing a guard of honour, which would have pleased John immensely. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
