HANNON, Rev. Fr Martin (Knapton Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin; late of Tuam, Co Galway) May 21, 2022 (peacefully) in St Vincent’s University Hospital; beloved son of the late Tommy and Peggie Hannon. Sadly missed by his sisters Hinsley and Elizabeth, brother Rory, his nieces Hinsley, Escriva, Gwen and Judy, nephews Martin, Lawrence, Tommy, Cormac, Ross and Paul, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family and friends, the Regional Vicar of Opus Dei, Fr. Christian van der Ploeg, the faithful and co-operators of Opus Dei, past pupils and staff of Rockbrook Park School, as well as all who knew and loved him so much. Reposing at Knapton House, Knapton Road, Dun Laoghaire today (Tuesday) from 4.00 pm. until removal tomorrow (Wednesday) to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road, Dublin, arriving 5.30 pm. Funeral Mass Thursday, May 26, at 10.00 am. followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery. The Mass will be live streamed on the parish website: www.merrionroadchurch.ie May he Rest in Peace

very sad to learn of the passing of Rev Fr Martin Hannon, attended many of his recollections in years past in Nullamore. Was a regular sight on his bicycle coming from or going places. May he rest in peace.
