DUFF - Ian Kidd (Blackrock, Co. Dublin). On this, the eve of Ian's First Anniversary, Hilda, Alex, Rachael, Jessica, Anna and his extended family, wish to extend our deep and heartfelt appreciation to all who supported us during Ian's short illness, after his death and during the past year. We thank those who attended his wake and funeral, who sent Mass and sympathy cards, letters and flowers, and who made donations to the Irish Cancer Society and to Our Lady's Hospice in Ian's name. To our kind friends, neighbours, and relations who kept us fed, and our spirits up during that difficult time, we give our sincere thanks. Thank you also to Fr. Bill Fortune who gave Ian great comfort, and provided him with support and friendship over the years and at the end of his life. But in particular we give our heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Our Lady's Hospice and of the Irish Cancer Society who helped us when Ian came home from hospital. We can never express our gratitude for their support, expertise and professionalism enough. It was thanks to their care and kindness that Ian's wish to die at home with his loving family around him was granted.Go deo inár gcroí
