POTTS, George (Dangan Park, Dublin 12) 17th February 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved husband of Ena and loving father of Kevin, Colin, Brian and Ciarán. Pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law Siobhán and his brother Jack. He will be sadly missed by his daughters-in-law; Sinéad, Rowena, Deirdre and Jenny, his grandchildren; Ellen, Eoin, Gavin, Emma, Natalie, Leon, Marlayna, Laura, Robyn, Bobby, Alex and Chloe and great Grandson Ari, his sisters; Geraldine, Maeve and Barbara, his brother Edward, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lwr. Kimmage Road today Wednesday (19th February) from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Thursday (20th February) at 10.00am in St. Agnes Church, Crumlin followed by cremation at Mount Jerome.

On the first anniversary of the death of George, February 17, 2025, his wife, Ena, his sons, Kevin, Colin, Brian and Ciáran, their families, his sisters and brother and his extended family would like to thank the many people who attended his repose and Funeral Mass in St Agnes Parish Church. Special thanks to Fr. Tony OShaughnessy PP, who celebrated the Funeral Mass, which was enhanced by Máire who sang for George. Thanks also to Dr. Hayden and his team at St James Hospital and Our Ladys Hospice, Harolds Cross, for the dignity and comfort they provided at this sad time. To Fanagans Funeral Home, for all their support. To Ballinascorney G.C., R.G.S.C. Pitch and Putt Club, to those who travelled long distances, to those who joined online from overseas and his many friends and neighbours. We would like to acknowledge our gratitude for the floral tributes, mass cards and messages on RIP.IE.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.
