Condolences to all his family and friends

I knew Dara when he lived in Terenure in the late 1970's. He was something else. The only guy I've ever met. before or since, who wanted a Porsche and decided to start with a shell which he was going to fit out himself.Big into martial arts and incredibly fit and strong, we met through Terenure Youth club, held in the community all in the rear of St. Joseph's Church, Terenure.I think Dara was on the youth club committee when I first joined and later on I followed in his footsteps. Very sad to hear of his passing. Heartened to see he has left something of himself in this world to make it a better place. My condolences to his wife and his children. Your dad was a great guy. You are his legacy to the world.

So Sorry to Learn of This
Dara was one of the most memorable RTE people from my era working with him. I had hoped to talk with him in Donnybrook later this year. Such a good man and so young. May he rest in peace and strength to his family Tom Browne (colleague and friend)
