BYRNE, Monica (née Bushe), (Palmerstown, Dublin), August 6, 2017, (peacefully) in the loving care of all the staff at Maple Ward, Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, beloved wife of the late Jim, cherished mother of Maeve (McPhail), Mary, Grainne (Hill) and the late John, David and Edel (Mahady), devoted Nana to David, Conor, Gillian, Ciara, Luke and Alex and great-grandmother to Connor and Penny. Monica will be sadly missed by her loving family, sisters, sons-in-law Alex, Jimmy and Dereck, John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at her home from 5.00 o'c this (Monday) evening. Removal to the Church of the Nativity of the B.V.M, Chapelizod tomorrow (Tuesday) morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00 o'c followed by burial in Esker Cemetery, Lucan."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis"

BYRNE, Monica, (Palmerstown, Dublin), August 6, 2017. Sadly missed and always remembered with much love. On this, the First Anniversary of Monica's passing; her daughters Maeve, Mary and Grainne, her sons-in-law and her grandchildren would like to sincerely thank our family, friends and neighbours for their sympathy and kindness shown at the time of Monica's passing and for their constant support over the past year. We are grateful to Fr. Patrick Byrne (St. Patrick's Missionary Society) for celebrating Monica's Funeral Mass and for all the kind gifts, Mass cards and sympathy cards sent in her memory. We are especially indebted to everyone for the love, humanity and compassion shown to Monica during her illness at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and also to all the staff in Maple Ward for the care given at the end of her life. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
