COCHRANE Neill, aged 79, died suddenly after a short illness on November 24, 2014, in hospital close to his beloved home in Ferragudo, Portugal. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends and, particularly, by his devoted children and grandchildren. A funeral has been held in Portugal and there will be a Memorial Service in Blewbury, Oxfordshire, on Saturday, December 13, 2014.

My name is Roger Moore and my father, John, and Neil were friends. My Dad would take me to watch him and Neil play snooker. It was hilarious. I also met Neil in the Algarve and he did indeed love it. He was a wonderful man in many ways.
