HEGARTY, James (Jim) (Killonan, Castletroy, Limerick, formerly of Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare and former deputy Principal of Glenstal Abbey). Peacefully, in the care of the Sarsfield Ward, St. Camillus’ Hospital, on January 9, 2023. Sadly missed by his loving wife Theresa, children Louise and Eoin, daughter-in-law Leeann, his adored grandchildren Liam, Zoey and Millie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially his fellow Toastmasters. Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral will arrive at Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen on Friday, January 13, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Mass will be live-streamed. Funeral afterwards to Kildimo Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
