DOODY Kevin First Anniversary, January 12, 2015 - A very sad year has passed since our beloved Kevin died suddenly, a Sunday evening that will remain in our memory forever. Mary, Timothy, Orla, Áine, Kevin and Katie, his mother Eileen and his extended family have been overwhelmed by the wonderful kindness shown to us both at the time and since. As the news of Kevin's unexpected death spread, the manner in which our neighbours, the people of Lough Gur and surrounding parishes, Lough Gur Development, Ballyhoura Development, Limerick Maternity staff, and friends rallied around was a great comfort. The choir, which was so important to Kevin, made his funeral Mass so special. To all involved in the traffic control and catering we are forever grateful to you. A word of thanks to Fr Daly and Fr Costello who attended Kevin on the night; Fr Holmes and Fr Egan who returned early from retreat to comfort us; O'Leary's Undertakers and Bruff Gardaí who were so kind and professional. To all who expressed their sympathy in person, by cards and by letters, we thank you. The expression of condolences and words of kindness will always be remembered. We hope this Acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation, Masses will be offered for all your intentions. First Anniversary Mass for Kevin will be celebrated at Lough Gur Church on January 11, 2015 at 10am.
