DUFFY, Fred (Monaghan, Sligo, Surrey and Dublin) 14th June 2025 (peacefully) at Newtown Park House Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Helen (Raftery) and loving father of Peter, Suzanne, Michael and Sinéad. Sadly missed by his family, his grandchildren Alannah, Saskia, Lily, Cecil, Michael, Milo, Zola, Martha, Hugo, Leda and Conan, sons-in-law Michael Higgins and Sorley McCaughey, daughters-in-law Dalila Alegre Duffy and Ciara Loughney, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the Fanagan Carnegie Funeral Home, 19 Monkstown Crescent Dublin A94 XK28 on Thursday from 5.00 pm. until 7.00 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11.00 am. in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park. The Mass may be viewed on https://donnybrookparish.ie/webcam/ No flowers, by request. Donations, if desired, to Rotary Charities.
DUFFY - Fred - Ballsbridge, Dublin. Cherished memories of Fred on his first anniversary (June 14th). Deeply missed and loved by his wife Helen, his children and 11 grandchildren. We would like to thank our relatives and friends who attended the Funeral and who were so supportive of us. We remember and miss his enormous joy of life and living. To all who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy a big Thank You, especially Rotary friends for their Guard of Honour. Thanks also to Mgr. Ciaran O'Carroll, Donnybrook, to the staff of Newtownpark House, the doctors in Blackrock Clinic and the palliative care nurses from Blackrock Hospice. Your kindness and support was very much appreciated. A Mass has been celebrated for your intentions.
