McCARTHY, Bríd (née O’Rorke) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 20th 2022, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Loving and beloved mother of Ailbhe, Justin and Deirdre, sister of Fionuala, Andrew and Ciarán and sister-in-law of Murt, Margaret and Marian. Predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Eileen, and Richard. Dearly missed by Billy, Declan and Orlaith, her grandchildren, Sadbh, Hugh, Andrew, Grace, Sibéal and Éabha, as well as Sibéal and Cian, nieces and nephews and her extended family and many friends. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Wednesday), May 25th 2022, at 10am in the Church of St. Therése, Mount Merrion, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
