O'BRIEN (née McCabe), Elizabeth (Swords and formerly of Lisduff, Co. Cavan) - August 13, 2015 (peacefully), at home; sadly missed by her loving husband Gerard, son Martin, daughters Lisa, Olivia, Gillian, Joanne and Geraldine, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her nine adored grandchildren, brothers, sister, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords this (Friday) evening from 4 o'c to 6 o'clock Funeral after 10 o'c Mass tomorrow (Saturday) in St. Colmcille's Church, Swords followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
O'BRIEN (née McCabe) Elizabeth (Swords) - On this First Anniversary her loving husband Gerard and her beloved children Lisa, Martin, Olivia, Gillian, Joanne and Geraldine would like to thank their relatives, friends, neighbours and all those who travelled long distances to sympathise and support them during this very sad time. We are extremely grateful to everyone who attended the funeral home, the Mass and burial in Swords Cemetery and to everyone who sent flowers, donations, cards, texts and letters of sympathy. We are grateful for the support provided by Rocks Funeral Home who were very kind to the family. Sincere thanks to Fr. Michael Carey, who conducted a lovely service and to Fr. Paul Thornton from Brackenstown who visited her home. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses of Beaumont and St. Luke's Hospitals for their care of Elizabeth during her illness. The family would also like to give their heartfelt thanks to the nurses of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny and the Irish Cancer Society for the care and support she received at home. They were wonderful during this trying time. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's sincere gratitude.Lonely is the home without you,
