Louth - On the first anniversary of the passing of Deirdre, her husband Charlie, their children, Helena, Walter, Niall and Graeme, together with their families wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their very sad loss of a much loved wife, mother and grandmother. We wish to thank Deirdre's relatives, friends and all those who attended her funeral Mass and burial. Special word of thanks to Fr. Michael Murtagh for facilitating Deirdre's wishes to have an ecumenical Mass in Dunleer, to Canon Joyce Moore who conducted the Church of Ireland part of the service and for officiating at the burial in Castlebellingham and also to Fr. Hugh Briody, friend of the family for his assistance at the Mass. To the organist Grace Nolan (née Treadwell), to the choir of Dundalk Grammar School for the beautiful rendering of some of Deirdre's favourite hymns and to the school students for forming a guard of honour at the church. The family wish to thank all those who sent Mass Cards, cards of sympathy, letters and flowers, and to those who called to Deirdre's home to express their sympathy. A special word of thanks to staff and nurses at the Mater Hospital where Deirdre spent the last few weeks of her life. To Dr. Patrick O'Donoghue, Dunleer for his best attention to Deirdre at all times. Also to the funeral directors, Desmond Connor and staff for their attention to detail. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we ask that this acknowledgement be accepted as a token of the family's appreciation of your support and kindness at this difficult time. "God be with you till we meet again."
