DEMPSEY, O.P, Fr. Luke (William) (St. Mary's Priory, Tallaght and late of Kilcash, Co. Tipperary), February 9, 2020 in the loving care of the staff at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre, Dublin 24. Deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Ann, his nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, friends, Dominican brethren and carers. Predeceased by his brothers and sister Jack, Michael, Thomas, Sr. Agnes, Patrick and Edmond. Reposing in the large parlour of the Priory from 3.00pm today (Wednesday). Removal to Priory Church for 5.30pm tomorrow (Thursday). Requiem Mass on Friday (Febraury 14) at 11.30am followed by burial in Community Cemetery.Rest in Peace

Father Luke was a wonderful Priest and Teacher. I was a former student of his in Theology 100 at St. Francis Xavier University, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Father Luke will be greatly missed by all who had the priviledge of knowing him.
