NAIDOO, Jay, (Clonskeagh and late of Durban S.A.) - August 12, 2015, (very peacefully), at home, in the company of his darling wife Kate (Beirne), his three adored children Marc, Taja and Remy and his daughter-in-law Karen. Pre-deceased by Alex (McEllin); very sadly missed by his loving family, parents Dory and Puspha, sisters Maggie, Dhani, Shushi, Salosh and Suri, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many, many friends. Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10 am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion and afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery."Jay, we loved you dearly"
NAIDOO Jay, (First Anniversary, August 12, 2015) - Jay, adored husband of Kate (Beirne) and Dad of Marc, Taja and Remy. Father-in-law of Karen. Pre-deceased by his first wife Alex (McEllin). Son of (the late) Dory and Pushpa Naidoo, of Durban S.A., loving brother of Maggie, Dhani, Sushi, Salosh and Surie. Brother-in-law of Anne and Mark, Peter, Mary and Lennart, Jane, Joe and Jacqui, Val and Si, Rajan, (the late) Charles, Ravi, Kesh, and Ward. Uncle of his nephews and nieces in Dublin and South Africa. We would like to thank the many people involved in Jay's care throughout his long illness. Dr. Damian Rutledge, Jane and Ann in Park Avenue Medical Centre. Prof. Tim Lynch and Team in the Mater Hospital. Prof. Orla Hardiman, Berni Corr and team in Beaumont Hospital and TCD. Gillian Dullea OT, Nicky Deacon PHN, John Finnegan Pharmacist and his team. All in the IMNDA for their incredible support. Jay's wonderful carers in particular, Andrej, who cared for Jay, with good natured humour for 2 years. Blackrock Hospice, Treasa and all the 'earth angels' who made it possible for Jay, to fulfil his wish and remain at home, amongst us, up to the end. Fintan Cooney of Fanagans Undertakers. Fr. Pearse Walshe, Fr. Tony Coote, Fr. Dick Quinn for Jay's Funeral Mass. Hazel Conway and UCD Choral Scholars who sang so beautifully. Finally, to all our amazing family, sisters, brothers, cousins, friends, neighbours, colleagues, to all who sent cards, letters, flowers, foodie treats, held our hands, and were there for us all, in our despair, words cannot express our gratitude to you all.
